Boston Springtime Getaway

Writer's picture: Sarah JayneSarah Jayne

Here’s my itinerary for a spring getaway in Boston with the kids. It’s worth mentioning is that it was rainy when we went, so these activities are mainly focused indoors.

Day 1:

  • Check into accommodations. We stayed at @lenoxhotel, which was perfectly situated in downtown Boston. We loved our stay, and the food at @citytable was a big hit.

  • Enjoy being a kid at @ldc_boston. We loved creating our own lego figurines and interacting with the activities.

  • Spend a few hours at @view_boston, which offers 360 degree views of the city with interactive displays throughout.

  • Grab dinner at @thebanksboston, which offers a great mix of traditional and new takes on seafood classics.

Day 2:

  • Join a tour at @bostonteapartyships and learning all about the historic events that took place.

  • Grab lunch at @eatalyboston and fill up with some delicious Italian.

  • Treat stop at @levainbakery for cookies that are finger-licking good

  • Dinner at @myersandchang. (Try their Indonesian fried rice - YUM).

Day 3:

  • If visiting on a Saturday with kids, swing by @icaboston for their morning Play Date that featured crafts and story time.

  • Enjoy a walk from @icaboston along the coast, enjoying lovely parks and sights along the way.

  • Walk to @pinktaco for lunch 🌮

With only 3 days, there was no way to pack everything in that we wanted to do, so we look forward to returning again to experience more of beautiful Boston.
